Breaking News: Eden Hazard Says What All Chelsea Fans Want To Hear

Chelsea’s talisman Eden Hazard has admitted he is “happy” at Stamford Bridge and will remain at the club despite rumours suggesting he could dump the FA Cup champions for Real Madrid.

Earlier last month, reports bandied about involving the 26-year-old’s exit from the club.

The Belgian was earmarked to join Real Madrid for the new season after playmaker Cristiano Ronaldo departed the club for Italian Serie A champs Juventus last month.

The forward’s terrific performance in  the World Cup for the Red Devils increased his chances of ending up in the Santiago Bernabeu with fellow compatriot Thibaut Courtois.

The 26-year-old pushed through with his request to join Real Madrid in the eleventh hour and there was a tsunami of apprehension hovering around Stamford Bridge that Hazard could head the same way.

But that didn’t happen and the storms that rose from his rumoured departure have stilled.

Fans will be thrilled the player has admitted he would remain at the club.

Hazard is contracted for the next two years at the club and the forward is in no rush to leave Stamford Bridge.

He told RMC Sport, as translated by Kristof Terreur: “Everybody knows what I have said after the World Cup.

“But I’m happy here. I don’t want to talk about it yet. A lot has been said, but at the moment I’m happy.”

“I have two years left on my contract and we’ll see what happens,” he said. “Leaving this year? I won’t go.”
