A presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the concluded primaries, Dr. SKC Ogbonnia, has warned Igbo not to trust the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
He gave reasons Atiku may not carry out the promise to restructure Nigeria, adding that the former Vice President has not made any move that showed that he was serious about restructuring the country even with few opportunities available.
Ogbonnia, who narrated how the PDP had looked down on Igbos, said the “Igbo nation worldwide should disregard a purported endorsement of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, by the South-East PDP elements grandstanding as Igbo leaders. Their action is a grand deceit, fraudulent, and myopic.”
In a statement he personally signed and made available to ORIENTAL TIMES on Thursday, Ogbonnia noted that the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, John Nwodo and others who gathered in Enugu to endorse Atiku were all card carrying members of the PDP.
