  1. Post update

It was a very quick look at himself in the mirror because Norrie is already back out on court. No abusing the luxury here!

  2. Post update

    Stuart Fraser

The Times sports journalist on Radio 5 live sports extra

Norrie’s off for a toilet break now which is probably a good idea whether he needs the toilet or not. I don’t like players abusing them but he needs to have a good look at himself in the mirror because at the end of that second set his body language was awful.

  3. Post update

    Norrie 3-6 0-6 Benchetrit

It may have been raining a little earlier but the sun is finally out and the locals have followed Benchetrit’s lead and thrown on their caps.

The hose pipes have been brought onto court too – they’re giving it a watering, presumably in the hope it might spark a performance out of Norrie in this third set.

  4. Zverev broken

    *Millman 5-5 Zverev

Fifth seed Alexander Zverev was serving for the set, but Australian John Millman has just broken back.

There must be something in the air at Roland Garros today. Juan Martin Del Potro a set down, Norrie struggling against the world number 273…

  5. Game and second set

    Norrie 3-6 0-6 Benchetrit

Serve, forehand winner, repeat. It’s so easy for the Frenchman. He’s 40-0 up and can afford a double-fault before holding to love and taking the second set in dominant style.

  6. Post update

A bit of light relief from Norrie’s struggles on court seven…

The ATP Tour have used the baby filter to superb effect on some of their stars.

  7. ‘An absolute shocker’

    Russell Fuller

BBC tennis correspondent in Roland Garros

The wheels are falling off spectacularly. Benchetrit is completely in control of this match. He’s playing magnificently well for a man of his experience and Cameron Norrie is having an absolute shocker.

  8. Benchetrit breaks

    Norrie 3-6 0-5 Benchetrit*

Barely a reaction from Norrie as Benchetrit takes the second break point when the Brit double-faults.

Somebody pick him up, give him a shake and bring some life into Norrie!

  9. Post update

    Stuart Fraser

The Times sports journalist on Radio 5 live sports extra

Norrie’s got to do something about this. He’s too far back behind the baseline and not getting any rhythm going. Benchetrit is playing very well.

  10. Post update

    *Norrie 3-6 0-4 Benchetrit

In the battle of the cap vs the bandana, it’s all about the cap.

    Benchetrit hasthree break points.

  11. Benchetrit holds

    *Norrie 3-6 0-4 Benchetrit

Benchetrit is like a little boy playing with his trains. He’s toying with Norrie and a sublime, angled backhand deceives the Briton.

He tries a slice but Norrie reads it and sends a forehand down the line before Benchetrit volleys a winner into the far corner.

  12. comments

Matthew Venn: Not a massive fan of the way Norrie plays, he’s going to need to improve the strength of his shots because he just doesn’t have the ability to hit enough winners. Let’s hope he can grind this win out!

  13. Post update

There were a few boos from the crowd after that last game. Norrie flew his racquet at the water bottles. He’s not happy at all!

  14. ‘Norrie needs rain’

    Stuart Fraser

The Times sports journalist on Radio 5 live sports extra

The sun is coming out now but I feel like Norrie could do with the rain. A rain delay could help him because this really is slipping away from him.

  15. Del Potro breaks

    Jarry 6-3 0-2 Del Potro*

Argentinian eighth seed Juan Martin Del Potro appears to have woken up a bit on Suzanne-Lenglen.

He lost the first set 6-3 to Chile’s Nicolas Jarry but has just got an early break in the second set.

  16. Benchetrit breaks

    Norrie 3-6 0-3 Benchetrit*

    This is NOT looking good.

Benchetrit needs just one break point to punish Norrie. It’s a cross-court winner and Norrie just trudges off to the side with his head down.

  17. Post update

    *Norrie 3-6 0-2 Benchetrit

A double-fault from Norrie and it’s 30-0 to Benchetrit. He responds with a forehand winner but the Frenchman then dominates and brings up two break points.

  18. Murray and Soares take first set

The Brazilian press have reported that Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares are playing their last tournament together.

But it looks like the partnership won’t be ending today. The second seeds have just won the first set 6-4 against Italy’s Lorenzo Sonego and Matteo Berrettini.

  19. Post update

    Stuart Fraser

The Times sports journalist on Radio 5 live sports extra

Cam’s got to do something here to change things up because it’s just not working at the moment.

  20. Benchetrit holds

    *Norrie 3-6 0-2 Benchetrit

15, 30, 40-0… Benchetrit is making light work of this. He doesn’t get the love hold though as he uncharacteristically skews a forehand but gets the job done a few seconds later.
